The SWBBA is the custodian of an extensive Library of Scores (over 150). Any band entering an Own-Choice Contest and requiring an extra Score of the test-piece should check the Library before purchasing.
There is an administration fee of £5 per score borrowed (cheques payable to SWBBA) and applications to Frances Calver - 01208851235, .
The Trust was set-up on 22nd May 1983 in Memory of Arthur F Bedwell, late Chairman of the South West Brass Band Association. The aim of the Trust is to assist any conductor or member of a band belonging to the Association by granting, on application, a financial contribution to enable attendance at approved courses of musical instruction, or be receiving some special tuition.
Applications must be by email, supported by the individual's band (via band secretary) and made to the Secretary of the Trust, Gill Rogers,
